Grand Central Consulting is a strategic consulting firm providing research services and counsel to political campaigns, private sector interests, and non-profit organizations. During the past several election cycles, Grand Central has consulted on successful campaigns run by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, New York Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli, United States Senator Robert Menendez, and numerous Congressional Democrats, including Representatives Jim Himes (CT), Frank Pallone (NJ), Bill Pascrell (NJ), Bonnie Watson Coleman (NJ), and Grace Meng (NY).
In the private and non-profit sectors, Grand Central has conducted research on behalf of a wide range of clients, from Fortune 500 companies and business coalitions to health care institutions and education reform organizations.
Adam Herbsman, Principal
Adam Herbsman has over a decade of experience in strategic research and communications in both the public and private sectors. In the political arena, Adam has conducted research for Democratic candidates for public office at all levels of government, as well as party committees and advocacy groups throughout the country. In addition, Adam’s experience includes working on the staff of the Clinton/Gore ’96 campaign and three years as an aide in the United States Senate. Over the course of his career Adam has also worked in public relations, serving clients in the asset management, technology, transportation, health care, and non-profit sectors.
Adam earned his B.A. in Political Science from Tufts University and received his Master’s in Public Policy and Public Administration, with a concentration in Media and Public Affairs, from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
